It’s the time of the year, where fine dining restaurants across the country will offer their menu at reduced prices either for lunch or dinner. Seats have to be pre-booked in advance through the Restaurant Week online portal.
With a strong desire to provide quality steaks to the people of South Africa, and the realisation that there were no good Steakhouses in Durban, Manuel Savic set out to change the tide. Butcher Block was founded in 2003 by Manuel, and has since grown into a well-known and highly respected steakhouse company.
The meat is sourced from a well-respected and trusted supplier – who rear their own calves from young and feed them supplemental food with all the correct nutrients to build a healthy, strong immune system – resulting in good quality, healthy meat for your palate.
