Christmas Carols at Laborie Wine Estate

Celebrate the start of the festive season with Laborie’s Christmas Carols Showcase on Fri-day, November 28th, 2014.

Join 140 children from Paarl Girls’ High School and the Frank Pietersen Music Centre. Spread your blanket on the lawn and sing along to all the well known classics as well as some South African favourites. Savour the occasion as the sun sets behind Paarl Mountain at what promises to be a magical and enchanting event.

There is no better way to experience the mood of peace, joy and goodwill than at our Carols Showcase. It’s the first time we have involved local schools and everyone is very excited with the new format. – Zelda Oelofse, General Manager at LaborieTheatre

Director, actor, and writer Norman McFarlane is choreographing and directing this year’s event and he is looking forward to the evening’s festivities. “We’ve been rehearsing hard with the children and it’s going to be a special evening,” says Norman.

Gates open at 17:00 with talented duo Slow Jack’s ambient sounds setting up the festive atmosphere. Wine can be purchased from the cellar door during the event and there will be food stalls with delicious bites from Harvest Restaurant. The kids will be able to enjoy face painting and other activities.

Tickets are availabl from Webtickets.co.za and entry is R70 for adults and R50 for children. The children’s entrance fee will be donated to the Paarl Post Christmas Fund.
