Be Part of the Mystery Event at Fork Restaurant

Someone’s been murdered on the River Styx. And you could be the killer.

Fork Restaurant on Long street serves up Spanish Pinchos with a South African twist. Their focus is on tapas and sharing plates and some mouth-watering desserts for that much needed touch of sweetness.  Doesn’t braised lamb with chickpea fritters, feta salsa and atchar yoghurt and choux puffs with espresso cream and almonds sound too good to miss?

Now that you’re tempted, come to a devilishly tasty mystery event on 26 July at 7pm complete with immortal beings, the underworld and a ferry ride full of dearly departed souls. Purchase tickets at R450 by 12 July and receive your character brief one week before the event and dress accordingly.

The to-die-for menu is as follows:

Croquettes with atchar mayonnaise
Deep-fried goats’ cheese with sun-dried tomato biscuits and port and onion marmalade
Butternut and goats’ feta rotolo with sage beurre noisette
Puff pastry parcels with sautéed mushrooms and parmesan

Seared tuna with tatsoi salad, Asian sun-dried tomato dressing and guacamole / Fig salad (v)
Grilled chicken with braised leeks, potato rosti and romesco sauce / Cauliflower romesco (v)
