Indian recipes draw upon local and season spices, herbs, vegetables, fruits and are regional in style and flavour. While Bombay Brasserie is strongly influenced by North Indian cuisine, Chef David and his team have devised a menu that includes all styles of Indian food in a bid to give patrons a true flavour of the rich sub-continent right in the heart of Cape Town.
Drawing on his extensive expertise in tasting, experimenting and appreciating a kaleidoscope of culinary experiences, Chef David and his team will use and fuse only the best locally sourced ingredients and the finest imported spices from India. The culinary panorama in the Mother City has been elevated with the opening of Urchin Restaurant located at The Hyatt Regency, Cape Town on Buitengracht Street.
There is a complexity to achieving true simplicity in a restaurant setting. It is an art. At Urchin Restaurant it is a beautifully and precisely choreographed ballet in which sustainable fresh fish and seafood are the prima and danseur. The hallmarks of the Urchin elemental ocean dining experience are underpinned by excellent, unobtrusive service, locally sourced and produced ingredients and world class wine from carefully curated wine cellar.
From 29 March – 5 May, Urchin will be serving a world-class 6 course tasting menu for R650 pp.

Mezze
Morii brings an exciting and authentic Middle Eastern flavour.
Their mezze menu is served from late afternoon and offers a variety that includes manakish, pickles, baba ganoush, muhammara and squid with harissa mayo.

Dinner
The evening switches to an eclectic fine-dining orientated menu. Offering Turkish. Lebanese and Moroccan flavours, it’s a unmissable experience that embodies Morii – which means to “capture a fleeting experience”.

BOMA is a lively desert style restaurant & cocktail bar located on the iconic restaurant strip of Bree Street. Come warm you hart, face and vibe by the sounds and smells of Boma’s open flames. Our indoor booths and large bar offer comfortable seating for all types of dining parties and our shady outside seating offer our more adventurous diners a view of what is shaking outside.
The magic of the Boma menu is that meals and stories are scorched together over heat and open flame.
