Art by the Sea at Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa

Join a guided tour of the hotel’s art collection, followed by a scrumptious High Tea served in the Leopard Bar. The spectacular location was the inspiration for many of the art works on display, including the mountain scenes that have been painted many times in the nineteenth and twentieth century – most famously by the Dutch/South African painter Tinus De Jongh and his son Gabriel De Jongh. Many of their oils of these mountain views can be seen in the reception rooms of the hotel, as well as works by other prominent South African artists depicting historical events of the Cape, the landscape and flowers.
